TAKE TEA

OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
PINK TEA, NEW TEAS & A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're marking it with a month of pink, tea, shopping, and supporting a meaningful cause.
Breast cancer affects approximately 1 in 8 women over the course of their lifetime. This month, we're encouraging you to check in with the women and men you love — and, of course, check in with yourself, too.
We're also partnering with JOET Jewelry throughout October for our Sip & Shop for a Cause. Guests can shop participating JOET Jewelry pieces during their visit, with a portion of proceeds going toward breast cancer research.
OPEN HOUSE
Free tea, treats, raffles, prizes, and the opportunity to support a good cause. Entrance is free, but a percentage of all purchases will be going towards research and the breast cancer warriors.
-Meet and greet the owner/chef, Anu. -Try our mouthwatering food (scones, sweets, sausage rolls, & so much more!) -Photosessions (additonal fee) -Inquire about catering/private events -Shop local: our shop features vendors from diverse groups specifically women, women of color, local businesses, and local artists.
October 15 3-6 PM

HOW TO REACH US
A quick heads-up: our phone line is not actively monitored, so calling us is currently not the fastest way to get a response.
For the quickest assistance: Website: TakeTeainCT.com Email: VisitTakeTeaInCT@gmail.com
We promise we're not ignoring you. We're probably in the kitchen making something.
Reservations now go through OpenTable.
A VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT ALLERGIES
Our menu is Chef's Choice, which means our kitchen prepares the menu in advance based on the information provided with your reservation.
For that reason, please list ALL allergies and dietary restrictions for EVERY guest when making your reservation.
Forgot to add something? No problem.
You can use the link in your confirmation email to update your reservation as long as it is more than 24 hours before your reservation.
What we cannot accommodate is arriving at your reservation and announcing a previously undisclosed allergy or dietary restriction.
We are a small team making fresh, from-scratch food, and last-minute changes can make it impossible to safely and fairly accommodate your party.
If an allergy or dietary restriction is not provided in advance, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate it, and you will still be charged the full amount even if you are not able to eat everything provided.
