Are you planning a visit to Take Tea for afternoon tea?   Here is what you should know:

Reservations:

Reservations are required. Those with reservations will be admitted five minutes before the starting time, but the two-hour duration of a seating will not extend for anyone arriving or joining us late. Parties must include only pre-reserved guests, and there will be a charge for any absent reserved guests.

Take Tea is currently taking a conservative approach to providing our hospitality, due to the pandemic.        Fully vaccinated and boosted patrons 12 and older are welcome to join us for tea.  For our safety, as             well as that of our patrons, we are accepting reservations up to 50% of our capacity at each seating.          Guests are required to wear  masks upon entering the tea room until they are seated at their tables;              when leaving the table to go to the restroom; at the end of their visit while exiting.

For parties of more than 6 guests, we require that you book by email (www.taketeainctvisit@gmail.com">www.taketeainctvisit@gmail.com).          Please contact the tearoom in that way to coordinate your party.

 Miscellaneous:

  • Take Tea has two entrances, one which is accessible. (Park near our Irish flag.)

  • Prices and menus are subject to change without notice.

  • A 20% gratuity is automatically added to parties of 7 or more guests.

  • Guests who visit grant Take Tea permission to use any photos taken of them by our staff for      promotional purposes including, but not limited to social media, email marketing and on our website.

  • Later in the new year, we plan to offer special themed teas and child friendly teas, as well as an      additional "pub" menu offering (when we obtain our beer & wine permit).

  • Splitting meals is not permitted.

  • Suggestions for ways to provide better hospitality are welcomed!

Cancellations:

For parties of 1-6 guests, afternoon tea reservations may be cancelled at any time that is at least 24 hours  before your scheduled tea time.  With the exception of illness or emergency, we would like 48 hour notice.    (We are a small tea room, operating at 50% capacity, and these reservations make a difference to our service and  success.)  Parties cancelling within the 24 hours advance of tea time, as well as "no-shows" may be

charged for their reservations.

For pre-paid, large parties of 7-16 guests, 72-hr notice is required for a full refund. Please note that we        cannot accommodate "banquet seating". Our tables seat 1-6 persons. Larger parties may be seated at more     than one table.
